Trick or treating at the mall

What is trick or treating anyway? What is this line and how come it's so long?

Hey, PopPop...who are these people?

Is this a bad dream? Some of these kids are deformed!

All this waiting for a toosie roll?

Ok, this is kinda creepy...

How come I'm just getting tootsie rolls and smarties?

Isn't he a little too old for trick or treating?

It's good we are getting something to eat! I'm so hungry I could eat a napkin!

I hope they don't think this booster seat is going to contain me! As soon as I eat, I'm out of here!

You got candy?????

The Pouter

Rodan has nothing on us. When Tegan gets yelled at, she now sulks and pouts. Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present Exhibit A!

We watched at least 5 episodes of Good Luck Charlie on Disney.

True, she is a bit hyper and seems all over the map at times, but when she wants to, she is the most intense, focused child I've ever seen!

Mr. wonderful

gobble him up!

Hey, you can't trap a fairy in a shopping cart!

I'll just see what I can get into!

I'm just so bumbed...

Happy meal at McDonalds? Heck yes, let's go!

Getting ready for the costume contest!

My own wand!

I am princess fairy Tegan Rose!

I know I'm cute but...

I'm just feeling so....cranky.

Maybe we should just stay here and I can just dazzle the family!

Well, I guess I have to go!

Tegan had fun, for about 5 minutes. For some reason, she was kind of cranky and impatient that day...but cutes as all get out!

Fairy Tegan Rose at Walmart

Today, we took Tegan to Walmart for a Halloween costume event. Here she is in the middle of the crowd eminating fairy cuteness.

Yes, she did manage to open the box by digging a hole through the top but the wax sleeve was impenetrable!

Jumping Bean

Our little butterball is doing some serious cardio!

Today, October 20th

Today would have been my sister Rose's sixty third birthday. I miss her massively.

The wonder and majesty of the universe I behold…
Endless galaxies span the heavens and silently unfold
the nature of our maker.

Through the lens of the Hubble telescope,
God’s creative powers are seen,
forming stars from billowing clouds
Colored gold and pink and green,
And halo-ed covered nebulae are spoken into being.

Ruby studded spirals and clusters glowing blue,
Light the paths the angels take
And streak the blackened dome.
While sprays of sparkling diamond stars
Lay still before His throne.
And somewhere beyond this beauty
Is the Lord’s home.

But greater than this beauty that my eyes are blessed to see,
Is the truth that lights the world,
At a place called Calvary…
Where Jesus died for all my sins
And now He lives in me.
And someday soon, I too shall be
Beyond the universe I see.

Twilight (Accepting old age)

I've had my time in the sun
and now the sun is setting
casting a golden glow upon
the landscape of my life
I reflect without regretting

For all I've done, the path I chose
have bought me to this place
I can walk into the shadows cast
with dignity and grace

The road I'm on is ending
my reward I shall attain
as I look back, I wonder
what footprints will remain?

a little jumpy

I really like this Johnny Jumper!

I can turn and change my whole outlook on life!

I can sit here and reflect

or I can jump and spin!

The pink bus

Did you put enough quarters in?

Let's get this thing started!

And away we go!

What a Wonderful World (louis Armstrong)

I see trees of green, red roses too

I see them bloom for me and you

And I think to myself what a wonderful world.

I see skies of blue and clouds of white

The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night

And I think to myself what a wonderful world.

The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky

Are also on the faces of people going by

I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do

They're really saying I love you.

I hear babies cry, I watch them grow

They'll learn much more than I'll never know

And I think to myself what a wonderful world

Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world.
