In loving memory, Rosemary Dent, beloved sister

What can we say
about our wonderful Rose?
How can we express or put into prose
what she meant to each one of us?
But that she was...
A beacon of light,
shining through storm the way home,
the thread that kept us together.
She stepped in and replaced
what was taken away,
took us all in, one way
or another.

A sister and friend,
on whom we could depend
She was someone we could rely on
A mother if need be, for support or advice,
and always a shoulder to cry on.

Her arms flowed with hugs,
her heart filled with love,
her deeds showed us how much she cared.
She gave, never took, neither left nor forsook
us and all that she had,
she shared.

So what can we say,
'bout our wonderful Rose?
Or how can we express or put into prose
what she meant to each one of us?
But that she was
an angel
