Pale green, pink and white buds adorn the stretching trees
The yawning willow flutters in the sweetly scented breeze
Emerald colored grass glistens in softly falling rain
Rainbows span the heavens and grace us once again
Daffodils and tulips salute the wakening earth
All creation rises to celebrate rebirth
"New life, new beginnings” the morning robins sing
A song of hope, a song of joy, heralding spring
