Another one of my moody poems...
Tapestry of Life
My body is falling
into a state of disrepair.
The tapestry of my life
is threadbare.
Each piece that I have added
is tattered, tired and torn.
Each color that I've chosen
is faded, weak and worn.
My mind slowly unravels,
with every passing year.
My scattered thoughts and memories
seem distant and unclear.
The tapestry of my life
is old and stained and frayed,
Yet the tapestry of my life,
like an heirloom wonderfully made,
is handstitched with the strands
of all my blessed days.
And woven throughout this tapestry is laughter, love and grace
