Poem

A Blessing

Lord, let me be a blessing, to someone on this day
I'd like to show someone your love, so please show me the way

If only just a smile, to cheer somebody's blues
An encourging word, an eager ear, to mend that person's bruise

Show me what to give away to those who have a need
Even if just my place in line, I'd give it willingly

I'd like to be a blessing Lord, to someone on this day
So all will see, it's you in me, when blessings come their way.

It's the little things in life that bring enormous joy!
A prayer, unimportant to anyone but you, suddenly out of nowhere, answered so that you know you are being looked after and not alone with life's problems, gives immeasurable joy.
When you ask for a kiss but also get a hug or when someone squeezes you tightly, meaningfully, as if to say, I am here for you, these make life livable and joyful.
Smiles that burst with love when you walk into the room, well, that makes my day.
Hearing one of my children saying or texting "Mom" gives me that comforting joy that I am still wanted and needed.
The cup of coffee that I get every morning that allows me to stay under the covers, that's my cup of joy and I am grateful for it.
No matter what life hands you, it is a choice to seek out the little things in life, for that is where you will find true joy!

Such a looker!~

The reason for my smiles

Last night, Tegan came up to me and said, "MomMom, I'm hungary", as she rubbed her belly. So I made her a peanut butter and jelly sandwich which she scarfed down.
Then she said, "MomMom, I want more Peanut jello sandwich"! So cute.

ch-ch-cha-changes!

Things are changing, the older I get...

Besides baby food, I eat puffy treats and little chocolate chip snacks!

I grew two new teeth over night! I have four now!

I'm scooching on the floor, really going places!

It's all good!
