My surgery is scheduled for August 11th at 7:30 a.m. pending the results of an EKG.
I'm a little nervous, but right now, it is kind of aching a bit, so fare thee well, gall bladder, thanks for taking care of my bile for 52 years!

What a day!
First of all, I had a lovely lunch with my brother Stan. It was good to see him and in good spirits. Tegan went to the hospital for that test and it seems that urine is flowing back to her kidneys, and that caused the UTI. Her pediatrician should be calling Noah and Shannon by Monday at the latest about this condition. We don't know what this means, so hopefully it is something minor and Tegan will grow out of it. Shannon thought her incisions split, so I rushed her to the doctor. It was just fluid that had gathered around her incision and escaped through a small hole.

Well, I didn't get to see the kids last night! Today, Tegan goes to the hospital for that urinary/bladder flush.
I am praying all goes well. Last night, we had the pleasure of Bailey stopping by!
She is looking a little thick around the middle, I suspect by the end of the month, she'll have a visible baby bump. She is such a smart and witty young woman!

Family matters
Well, thank you God, for my brother Chris's successful pancreas surgery.
He is recovering well and Heather, I feel for you that you have to deal with
him not being able to eat solid food for a while!
As for me, it looks like I will have to have my gall bladder removed :(
I feel anxious about it, but I would rather get it out before I experience the pain that others have when their gall bladder goes bad.

Mountain retreat
Ah Cunningham Falls State Park!
Testing the waters!
This is so much bigger than my pool!
Lazy day on the lake!
Just floating...
Me and PopPop!
I can get use to this!
Time to relax and have a drink!
On Saturday, we took Tegan to Cunningham Falls and she loved it. Next time, we will bring toys for her, since she tried to make away with every bucket, shovel, and toy belonging to other kids. That's always awkward. She loved the water so we will be going there more often.

EARTHQUAKE!!!
So, I wake up at 5:00 this morning to a rumbling sound/sensation. I thought to myself, wait, that's a pretty big truck passing by. Then I thought, wait, this house doesn't shake for any reason....and I chuckled to myself about the possibility of an earthquake. Sure enough, it was an earthquake! A 3.6 magnitude earthquake centered in Germantown! Go figure!
