Sketti face!
Well, here are the obligatory spaghetti pictures of our little meatball!
She really enjoys eating and spaghetti is no exception. At one point, I was bringing the spoon up to her mouth and she slapped it out of the way, only to get pasta plastered on her sweet little face!
How can anyone resist this orange face?

Tegan is on the move
I really enjoy watching Tegan play. She is very curious about her world and it's fun to watch her inspect her toys, push, spin, toss and of course, taste. She can amuse herself now and it is really neat to see. She pulls herself up on everything now and gently plops down when she is finished. Yesterday, Shannon and Shaun watched her stand up in her crib without holding on to the rail!

Columbus Day
Ah, a day off, not that I ever get to sleep in...
I heard Tegan singing in her crib at 7:30, so I decided to let her mom sleep in, as I snatched the happy girl from her crib. I made french toast for breakfast, cutting her's into small pieces and putting them on her tray. She is really getting good at feeding herself. Next, we got ready and headed out into the crisp morning air...I had some shopping to do and a 50% off coupon for JoAnns. Tegan loved all the warm fall colors in JoAnns, she squealed and chattered the whole time we perused the shelves, looking for the optimum item on which to use my coupon. Afterwards, we went to Sam's club, where she made cute stinker faces to the unknown masses, which generated alot of chuckles and smiles. Since she is such a trooper, we went to Giant Eagle as well, where she happlily clapped and waved, emanating cuteness minute by minute. So for me, it was a fabulous day off, spending precious one on one time with my granddaughter.

If your baby is beautiful and perfect, never cries or fusses, sleeps on schedule and burps on demand, an angel all the time, you're the grandma.

Pink and perfect!
Who can deny this face?
Like PopPop says, there is no denying her when she puts her arms up, you just have to grab her and cuddle. When she crawls over to you, you just have to play with her. When she cries, you have to hug and comfort her. And when she does something cute, you have to brag about it for days....

Our greatest happiness does not depend on the condition of life in which chance has placed us, but is always the result of a good conscience, good health, occupation, and freedom in all just pursuits.

2009 Sedwick Family Reunion
Thanks to Heather and Chris for putting on such a great spread and for providing the slide and moonbounce! The food was so delicious and grill master Chris outdid himself once again. A beautiful sunny day graced our reunion as the adults joked and chatted and the kids played in the park and on the slide and moonbounce. We missed having Randy, Carrie, Junior, Andrew and Lacy, Stanley, Mike, Stan and Mia, Robert, Ben, Steve, Kevin and his crew, Kim and Cameron, Betsy, Rob and his new wife. Of course, we all really missed Rosie, but I'm sure she is glad that we are keeping the tradition that she started, that she cared so deeply about. Until next year!
